UK Mini Meets - Hampstershire and The South Coast Area

After the success of our first UK meet I've noticed the UK riders saying about meeting up with the guys and girls they live near over the summer for some ride outs, so I thought I'd start a thread about the Hamstershire and South Coast area..

So guys and girls.. Get posting and arrange some ride outs for the summer.. Make sure you get piccys so you can post them afterwards

Been having a think about this.

If we meet up at Boxhill (Dorking) it would sort of cover London, Surrey, Sussex and North Hampshire. From there a possible route via Newlands Corner (Guildford) then to Loomies Cafe (Alton Hants) and then possibly down to the cafe near Arundel.

Cannot do this sunday as i think im meant to be working

but Next sunday should be ok.

Sounds good to me too,the D16RR is not as fast as my '08 in a straight line,according to the dyno charts it over 20 BHP down in the mid range and only pips mine at the very top of the rev range but as we all know,its all about mid range stomp on the road.I get really upset everytime i overtake him

Ok 28th sounds good I was thinking about 10am meet at Box Hill to get a chance for everyone to meet up then on to Newlands Cnr for a quick stop then onto to Loomies via a few interesting back roads for lunch.

Although I did get into a bit of trouble with the old sheila as I forgot the 28th is our wedding aniversery

, got away with it though as we already had the following weekend away booked.

I'm fairly flexible so long as I have a couple of weeks notice. (aka gives me chance to book it in with the wife and kids)
Maybe if you guys can post up a few dates that work for you then we can all agree on the best mutually convenient one...

SORRY GENTS...had a blow out last week and need a new tyre.
Some git had decided dropping shrapnel in the road was a good idea.

Can't afford a new tyre this month...but hoping a mate has a spare i can get for nought....aka beer!

Just FYI - never get the tube to work. It sucks big time.....

A few of us have been converging on Ma Larkin's in Chipping Norton on Sunday mornings recently. breakfast is good and it seems like a good ride no matter which direction you're coming from.

It opens at 9.30am, I aim to get there for opening time
