UK Riders - Stormin' The Castle - Sept 2009

This has been suggested as a potential meet for the end of the summer

Here is the website for the event - Stormin' The Castle

Quote:
The dates are now confirmed for 4th 5th & 6th September & as always you will find all the usual attractions, including a Custom Bike Show, two stages featuring top quality live bands, fairground, fun run & loads more;

Ticket prices will be held at 2007/8 prices & will go on sale via all the usual channels on 1st April, priced at £22 in advance & £30 on the gate.

The event for those of you, who don’t know, is a fund raising event for the Motorcycle Action Group; unfortunately due to the washout last year & the associated costs, this led to a loss making year & we were unable to make a donation to MAG for the first time in our 18 year history.

Stormin’ would like to thank everyone for their support & we hope to see all the regular &, hopefully, many new faces back in 2009 for the 19th Stormin’ the Castle.

Just to confirm I will be attending this event, but may have to arrive on the Sunday as I am travelling back from hols on Saturday.

If I can travel home on Friday I will travel up with you guys along the way.

Perhaps I could organise a plan for those who will be going, allowing us to meet together at certain meeting points along the way. That way we can all arrive together and set out tents together. But not too close to Bucko . Just an idea, whats peoples thoughts.

As for the rest of it, sounds good to me.. I'd thought the same thing about meeting up along the way too if we come up to it..

SSB has to check call out/holiday rotas when he goes back to work and I need to check when the kids go back to school and if they can go to their dads for the weekend...

Hoy

Im in Caithness, near Wick (mainland), love the road down as far as Inverness, below that way too many fecking mobile cameras everywhere not to mention the static ones .

I suppose to give you an idea of the numbers of bikes here, I organised a charity run last year and we had over 100 bikes, so there are a few around
