| UK used part sites? I'm looking to buy a full exhaust for my 929, where would you UK bladers look for used bike parts classifieds? I know of ebay.co.uk but nothing shows up there. I'd avoid buying from the US, they get nervous about shipping outside the "world" and besides customs adds 29% on top of price and shipping. |

| Re: UK used part sites? I generally just use ebay, davesilvers and breakers for spares. |

| Re: UK used part sites? You haven't said whether the full exhaust you want is a Stock/Oem part or whether you want an aftermarket race system?
Trying to find a full after market race exhaust for one now is going to be slightly tricky - unless someone has some old stock or if you are willing to purchase one brand new...?
Deff keep checking on Ebay - some people might have a 929 which they are breaking due to crash damage (the rear can may be scratched)
Good Luck
(Also, check the FOR SALE section on this site - you never know what you might pick up)

| Re: UK used part sites? Thanks for the pointers, will keep on looking. Just lost one used akrapovic and one new micron full systems on ebay lately and getting impatient. I always get beaten on the last second. Need a better bidding technique |

| Re: UK used part sites? I would usually open two pages, in one type the price and click bid now (BUT DO NOT CONFIRM IT)...
On the other page you keep refreshing it by pressing F-5... Depending on how fast your internet is, I can leave it until 10s before clicking on the other page and pressing confirm bid. At times i have even waited for 5s!

| Re: UK used part sites? Well that explains a lot, thanks. My internet is fast enough, got it upgraded to 100/100 not so long ago. But I was bidding with my iphone, maybe a bad idea if it's a question of seconds.. |

| Re: UK used part sites? Thanks, eventually it will Too bad the new ones apparently still sell well even with the prices from the glory days of the 929, no 10% off or anything! Must be cheap keeping those things stocked for years.. |
