 | sad day A 34-YEAR-OLD man died after a collision between a car and his motorcycle on the A40. Dyfed-Powys Police said David Furness, 34, of Abertridwr, Caerphilly, died at about 12.40pm on Saturday on the A40 at Tafarn Newydd, Llandovery. He was riding his yellow Honda Fireblade motorcycle. The two occupants of the Ford Focus were uninjured and the road was closed for five hours while police carried out a detailed investigation. | Re: sad day I'm just dropping you a quick line in response to the message you posted on the fireblades.org forum. Dave Furness was a member of the sv650.org forum and got his yellow blade a couple of years back to replace his yellow curvy sv, and was known to everyone on the forum as Hovis. He's been a big part of many of the rideouts and brought fun and smiles with him wherever he went.
