Now I'm just curious if there is someone who knows the measurements of the front + rear brake lines ?
Which fittings and angle does a cbr900rr needs?

I know that there complete brake-line set available, but ordering 3 brakelines from this guy is cheaper... I'm from the Netherlands.. where cheap is a way of living..

I recently sprayed water in it and cant get all of it out. Idk how the baffle is set up on the inside of it but wth i should be able to drain all the fluid out with no problems. So does anyone has any ideas on how to get it? Have you cleaned a tank before and what did you use? If you used vinegar how well did it work?

Hello guys! I just wanted to start here by saying hello and thank you for all the useful info for my bike I've gained already. I recently picked up a CBR900RR 98 model on the 22nd for a really good deal and I am in love with it already. It's my second bike, and I've got about 6 years riding experience in the street. Here's a photo:

It's got a cut down D&D pipe on it, and from what I can guess is mismatched plastics, and a slightly scraped up tail section. It also came with -1+2 Vortex sprocket set so I definitely get some low end power.

Other than re-upholstering the seats, new bar end mirrors and a new jet kit I think I'm set.

Hi everyone, new to this site, I have a problem that has been driving me crazy and would like any advice. I have a 2004 cbr 1000rr with 25k miles. I was riding this bike and it was driving perfect and my gas light came on and I rode about 4 miles and stopped. Then bike sat for about an hour and I got back on it toget get gas and right when I started it it bogged a little and I thought it was because i was low on gas but I filled up, and as I'm riding home the bike hesitated a few times when driving( like a slight bog) and then about a mile later it was spitting and sputtering and will not rev over 3k rpms. Will not go one thousandth of an inch above the line. It will rev fine Until 3k rms and then it will just spit and sputter horribly. but will idle fine. i let idle for 30 mins and ran seafoam But nothing happened. Brought it to a mechanic and the fuel pump primes up, and is working. Fuel filter was clean. My first thought was fuel
Filter as if maybe something at the bottom of the tank got sucked up but he said everything was clean. Plugs are good also. He recommended a tps sensor so I ordered a throttle position sensor along with a new throttle body and he installed and nothing still.. Says its throwing #8 code which is tps sensor? He can't figure out the problem and I'm clueless and it's been over 2 months and would appreciate and help. Thanks:)

Hi -

I searched the forums a bit for some answers, but to no avail - would really appreciate any advice anyone has to offer. Also, I'm new to this forum.

So, I've been out riding a bit this season with no issues - put maybe 150 miles on my pretty stock honda 919 with 19k. Had been meaning to change the oil and replace the alternator gasket fairly soon, as I had noticed a bit of a leak coming from it at the end of last season. So, yesterday rode out to get new tires put on and about 5 miles into my ride, she starts losing a bit of power, then it comes back, then goes down again, then I come to a redlight on a hill, start from the light and it dies on me completely. Pull off the road, won't start. So, I hike back to my place, get the truck and trailer, trailer it to the shop and ask them to check it out when they do the tires. It started again when I got back to it with the truck and trailer. So, the shop says they didn't find anything other than it looked a bit low on fuel. So, today I ride it back from the shop - first thing I do is top off the tank, still when nearly home she dies again on me - however this time after a couple minutes and giving it some gas she sputters to a start again and then I make it home. The only thing I can think of is that prior to all of this she was left out in the street (sad, I know) uncovered in a massive down pour - water in the tank? Any thoughts? I'm pretty nervous to ride more until I get this figured out. Thanks!
