hey all, was riding to work this morning and my 95 blade chucked its my little pony set out of the pram and ground to a halt with a flat battery. turns out that 2 of the 3 yellow wires that run from the stator to the reg rect are unplugged, i must have bumped them as the plugs werent real tight.

anywho, i just need to know where each of the wires go to, ie, does it matter which wire is connected to which wire. i have a 50/50 chance of getting it right, but i dont want to risk frying something if i get it wrong. help please?

Ive wanted one of the new blades since I first got a look at one and read the specs on it, I told a friend of mine all about the new blades and he went straight to the dealer and bought one, lucky for him his is the only one I know of that isnt burning oil, several guys from our local board bought them and they have all sold theirs allready due to honda not honoring the warranty on the bad rings that are in the bikes,

how wide spread is this problem? are you guys suffering from the same thing?

would like the problem to be fixed so I can feel safe buying a new honda again but ive heard rumors that the 2010 models carry the same problem?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy my next bike (I tend to change bikes every couple of year) and have kind of narrowed it down to an 02/03 954rr or an 04/05 1000rr. The cost advantage is sort of making me lean towards the 954 but it would be good to get some opinions from people on this forum.

I've been riding bikes now for some 20 years and use them mainly now for sunday blasts and 3/4 track days a year.

so whats peoples opinion of the 2 different models and which one would you recommend and why? All comment will be greatfully received.

Cheers
