Fuel sensor problem?

I have a 2003 cbr 600 f1 and in the last month or so, my reserve fuel gauge has been playing up. It was fine before this but at one point, the reserve gauge came on and went down to 2 bars then went up to 4 again and restarted to go down. When I filled up, it cost me about £3 more than a normal full tank.

This has happened again recently and I was wondering what this could be making this happen

Starting problems, turns over but only starts with starting fluid

1998 CBR 600 F3
Bike was garaged for 5 years, in really good shape at 10k miles.
removed the carbs, cleaned the bowls and jets.
air filter looks good.
replaced the spark plugs (gapped), oil & filter, coolant.
filled with gas mixed with some sea foam.
wouldn't start (turns over, but no firing)
bypassed gas pump and raised height of gas tank.
fluid flows freely out of the tank.
Only fires if choke is full and I spray starter fluid into the front intake
revs high, then idles for a while, then dies.

acts like gas isn't getting into the carbs at all. Is there an easy way to check without taking off the carbs again.

I have a 2006 F4i and the headlights operate intermittently while driving the bike, both low and high beam selection. All other electronics work fine including signals and dash lights. I will be running an electrical check later today to check for breaks or shorts. Any other ideas as to what my problem may be?

Hi guys
Does anyone know the size of the spacers for the front axel of CBR600F4i and the length of the axel itself?
I’m swapping the front end of my Honda 919. I have already purchased the forks and rim over ebay, but have to pick proper axel and set of spacers out of a box, full of different ones in a local shop.
 Please, I need a hint!

To start I have done contiunuity tests on every lead related to the start and running of the engine including checking the diode, starter relay, safety switches and fuses.

What's happening is I set up to start the bike and when I push the starter button the relay does its click and at that same moment the power shuts completely off. The only way I can even try again is to disconnect the battery for half a minute. I'm almost certain it is the relay. Maybe I should pull the starter out and have that checked.

Ijust wanted to get some viable opinions being that it will be awhile before I can dive into the bike again.

Hello,

I am living in the Netherlands and recently bought an import *f3 Ca* specs.\\The bike doesn't run properly and has a yoshimura and dynojet fitted.

The dynojet fitted is for a normal (non CA) f3 so it will run bad with the settings as in the dyno guide. I tried to fiddle with the needle hight and when i set it leaner it runs better but still much to slow :crying:

I am planning to swap the cams and trigger wheel on the crank from another engine.

Is there anything else that i need to swap to get it running as a US or euro model? CDI ??????

I like the bike but this is taking way to much time already!

Bike Dies At 230 degrees??

The engine cuts off when bike is idle at about 220 and 230 degrees mainly when im on the streets at a red light never while on the move i actually got back to the house let in idle in the driveway and it would cut off about 2-4 mins into letting it sit, ive checked coolant levels everything is fine actually toped off coolant level wait about and hour or two then went back on the rode and the bike did it again at a red light (was actually next to a hottie in a new black audi and i looked like a dumbassfor staling the bike)
just start happening today idk if bike overheated and died or wat but it stays on when i keep the RPM's up but dies in an idle RPM's start dippin below 1RPM then just cuts.....
fan is running, also might lights dim when i ride at low idle (could it be battery issue??)
all hose are intact and no cracks even went as far to check all fluids including oil, radiator, break, and coolant...
in advance thanks for the help
