Hi Dave from New Zealand here, recently stuffed my 929 and will fit a second hand engine; does anyone have info on what I would need to do to fit a 954 to it? The engines just bolt in, the 954 injectors are bigger but can a 929 ECU run the 954?

My name is Jarrod. Im a 35 year old bloke who lives in Brisbane in Australia. I have been into bikes since I first got my licence in 1996. Had heaps of bikes before and since having my licence....

My current ride is a 99 CBR900RRX which i have only had for about 2 weeks. I got it for $4900 with only 35,000kms on it which appears to be in very good condition with only minor lapses.

My previous bikes have included:

89 Kawasaki GPX250
91 Yamaha FZR250
93 Suzuki GSX750F Tourer
86 Suzuki DR 600
01 Kawasaki ZRX1100
91 Kawasaki ZZR1100C
95 Kawasaki KLX250X
95 Suzuki GSXR1100WS (which I streetfightered)
01 Kawasaki ZX9R

Mostly Kwakas and Suzis so this blade is my first venture into Hooonda Territory...

Talk soon all....

Jarrod

Heres my new toy...

I Just got a 02 f4i that was wreck, the front is all messed up and missing, At first i couldn't get the fuel pump to kick on unless i put a ground on the fuel relay brown/black wire, but i also had it hot wired but didnt know what to do with the pink(security) so I ended up taking the igition off my 929 and plugged it into the f4i and the fuel pump kicks on like normal, it turns over and sounds right but there is no spark. I got power to the coils, not sure how much, but there is power going to the coils, does anybody hav any ideas?

Hello Everyone. Just joined the site last week. I'm going to attemp to post some pics of my bike. It's an 02 CBR 600 f4i. I caught a good deal on it for $1500 bucks. It didn't run, had been laid down while doing a wheelie, and needed tires. I spent about $200 on a fuel pump, Fuel rail, and injectors I bought on ebay from a wrecked bike and she was up and running. A new set of tires and some stickers and I'm still only $2000 into it. I plan on getting it painted next year and the fairings sonic welded back into shape.

Hi, i am a new member and also a new CBR owner. I purchased a CBR 1000rr 2008 model. This talk about using oil makes me a little nervous. Are many of you experienceing this problem?

I also wonder if i have done the right thing by putting an FMF Apex slip on muffler on my bike. I am hoping that within reason..i will be a little more noticible to other drivers for my own personal safety. I also hope that i can get 1-2 miles more per gallon.

I do not race or know how to. I absolutely love driving the CBR and look forward to taking it sport-touring in the mountains this summer. My previous bike was a very nice Honda Valkyrie. I actually have never been on a bike that I love as much as the 08 CBR. i hope that it holds up well mechanically. Since i am new at this please feel free to share your opinions with me.

Also does anyone have the joe rocket survival suit? If so how do you like it? I thought it might be nice for sport touring. Van
