Sourcing Parts in Thailand - Pattaya

Ok just had a stroke of luck sourcing a wind deflector for my CBR.

I figured I'd have to pay the piper and have Red Baron Bangkok send one down to Pattaya but I was in luck. This place managed to get me the parts:

Image: http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc174/Ulysses3100/CBR%20400/DSC00356.jpg

Called Shadow Service (Nao Service) and run by the president of the Burapa Biker Gang they are a decent and helpful outfit.
They got me a replacement, brand new wind-shield/deflector for 1100 baht.

They temporarily fixed the bikes cracked fairing with superglue. But on monday when the fibre glass dude is back I'll be taking for a more permenant fix on that. :)

 ive notced when ive been riding the cbr400 the rear brake doesnt seem to be doing anything, even with the pedal hard down. looks like there is some new pads init, is there anything i should check for first ? or is there anyways to adjust the pedal, or ...... ?

also i have noticed in the coolant tank it seems to be just plain water, so will require changing before the cold weather comes, where abouts is the drain bolt? on the rad and tank ?

many thanks

I've got a 1986 CBR400F NC23, which was a great ride till now...
it didnt run smoothly coz there was no ignition on piston 2&3.
I was only 3 miles from home at 2am n said I'll go through...
just b4 home, it stopped running, and there was no spark on piston 1&4 also..
the question is :
if it was ignition coil, did the second one stopped working because of the other or its just a coincedence? could it be the CDI? or any other part beside wires and connections?
PLEASE ADVICE ME what to do..

While browsing about for some info I caught onto this page:

Honda JDM CBR's - FAQ's & Factsheets (http://www.cbr250.com/cbr250/faqs/)

It says that semi-synthetic oil is best for CBR 400s.
Apparently fully synthetic causes clutch slip / drag.

I always put Mobile 1 super synthetic oil into my bike. This is on the strong recommendation from the mechanic I bought it off. He says that due to the age of the engine and climate of Thailand it needs the best of the best.
I've checked it out that this oil is the same stuff ferrari's and aston martins etc use! :)

That's my thoughts. What about yours?
