Selling the motard . . . I'm giving up riding

Dear Fireblades Members,

I suffered another death in the family last week, a scant six months after losing my father. After much prayer and introspection, I can't say I have riding in my heart any longer.

I'm selling my new DR-Z400SM Supermoto and will not be replacing it with another motorcycle, at least no time in the foreseeable future.

The DRZ-400SM retails for $6,099. Mine has been modded nicely to include a Baja Designs LED tail light and fender eliminator kit, Supermoto Engineering axle sliders, Dynojet Stage 1 jet kit, K&N air filter, Galfer stainless steel brake lines front and back with fresh Galfer Super DOT4 brake fluid, Topar Racing CNC machined billet aluminum countershaft sprocket cover, and Race Tech 6.0kg rear shock spring (mandatory for anyone over about a buck fifty). I also have a CNC billet aluminum passenger peg eliminator bracket, though it's not shown in these photos.

The bike has 1,224 well cared miles on it, never off road, never down, no rash or damage of any sort. The bike wears its factory Dunlop D208s which are highly sticky and show virtually zero wear. The oil and filter were replaced at 150 and 600 miles and the chain has been serviced every 300. Finally, the bike carries the balance of the 12-month unlimited mileage factory warranty (I've owned it about two months as of today).

Price: $5,000 - shipping to be the buyer's responsibility. I've had very good luck with this outfit in case you're interested in a safe, reasonably priced way to get the bike to you- http://www.haulbikes.com/.

There are many other shipping services, however, so shop around.

If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to take calls at 402.306.2401

If I don't sell it here or on Thumpertalk today or tomorrow, it'll probably go on eBay this weekend.

Warm regards,

Jeff aka Chain
