I think he forgot that he'll still have to pay tax on the new 1k.

At his insistance, I even spent my lunch hour going to get the title, taking a picture of it, and emailing it to him so he could verify it was a clean one .

The KLR is interesting. I've actually thought about buying one next year if the CBR sells. Looking to get rid of one?

Sorry you missed it. It's been up for sale here for a little while. Ebay is a thought, but I'm very skeptical of going that route.

I work out of Dover AFB. It's up in the post office there. I've also got it on the board down in the local Honda shop and at a local shop called Speed-Werks (good guys, they deserve a plug

I've had some extra-ordinarily good luck selling stuff on Ebay recently. Crazy what people will pay for someone elses junk...... not saying your 954 is junk..... Good Luck

I just looked into EBay. If I read correctly, on top of Ebay's fees you pay 3% for PAYPAL? That could get expensive if the auction ends low.

Actually it's a 97, and it definetely wouldn't help with those RC payments

The YZ though, hell just the box* I have sitting next to it should cover about 1/2 of those payments

(I bought everything in the planet to woods it out, but alas it is too high strung for these woods)
Next I add the 1993 ranger to the deal

Autos/Motorcycles are set prices on eBay, not a percentage like the other items. And, don't accept PayPal for payment (or tell them to add 3% to their final bid if they want to use PayPal).

Thanks Conq. I was looking at it a little more, and it seems like a good idea to get a non-refundable deposit through Pay-Pal right after the auction to weed out scams, then get the rest cleared through the bank before shipping the title.

I had great luck selling my RC on ebay. I might look on ebay when I am ready to get another one...not sure. I just need to put it on hold right now for baby duty.

Feel for ya DUX! Wrong place at the wrong time syndrome going on here. I can't believe someone on the forum didn't snatch up your bike at that price! Timing is everything, and unfortunately the seller has little say as to luck in that matter. Hope you do well on eBay!

Sorry for humoring SSG at your expense DUX. I have no experience regarding selling a vehicle on eBay. But just let me say "caveat venditor". I know that dozens (hundreds?) of vehicle sales occur every day on eBay - just do your homework and watch your back.
