FS: 2002 CBR 954

I am finally putting my street ride up for sale. It is a Red/Black 2002 CBR 954 RR. It has a little over 8,000 miles on it. It is in great shape. It comes with stainless lines front and rear with a quick bleed master cylinder banjo bolt in the front. It has Vortex 2 peice frame sliders, Gregg's flushmount front turn signals, a very nice looking undertail ( cannot remember the brand) and a color matched hugger/chainguard combo. The bike has a clean title and has never been down. I have the service records for the 600 mile and the 4,000 mile service that were performed at the Honda dealer. I am a maintenance FREAK so all the maintenance was down on time or sooner. I am trying to get my finances in order so the street bike has to go! I am asking 6,200 OBO. Halfway.....sheesh...be a man if u like the bike and have spoken on the phone with the other person...Ride yo butt up there and pick it up...I bought mine from a guy on this site last yr great deal swell guy, nice trip and excellent bike......I live in Ga, he was in Ind....motto: Have great deal, I'll travel !!!

That is quite a haul you made for your bike gasoul! How does the saying go?..."Love is blind"...or is it "Love knows no barriers"? That's awesome that you were willing to drive all the way up North to pick up a bike. Plus one for a dedicated rider! Thanks for the bump. -Jason

Well I never heard back from you. I'm sure you'll find a buyer for the bike. You may already have.

Anyway I brought one home this weekend. It was a 10 hour drive each way but well worth it. Red and black 02 with under 10k miles. And perfect!

Me too Jason. I was really thinking about coming to Knoxville to meet you. I love it around there. I go ride deal's gap for a week once a year. I figured while I was there I'd take the new 954 down the dragon a time or two before heading home with it!

Hey Sleeper, It's cool. I had already started talking to the guy I bought my bike from before Wreckless posted to me. I was interested in Wreckless' bike though... and probably would have bought it if we could have worked out a quick deal. But not everyone lives on their computers like I do so I can understand him not getting my messages.

It's no biggie. I got a great bike for a good price and I don't regret it at all. I'm sure Wreckless is a great guy and I have NO hard feelings at all about this. I know someone else will come along and snatch his bike up. Sounds like it's been well taken care of.

See, this is what I'm talking about...Go Get those bikes guys, they are out there.....side note: My buddy wanted a bike so off I went again...this time we drove to Ohio, and with the same results...great bike, great deal, and another swell guy. My advice is don't wait on these deals...hint hint...I'm looking for a cruiser now...and I will travel.

Right on Gasoul, I couldn't be happier. Great deal, great trip - I wish I didn't get the 78 mph in a 55 ticket in Louisiana but oh well!
