If these can be adapted to an RC51, I'll bet Sheep of Blue might be interested.

well, with the correct rotors and maybe a spacer or two, I'll bet they'll fit just fine.

Yep and the RR rotors are different than RCs

Re: FS: DYMAG 5-spoke Magnesium 929/954 wheels

I don't know anything about the rc51, but the stock 929/954 rotors mount straight up to the dymags. The dymags have the axle spacers fixed to the wheel/bearing so they fit onto the 929/954 without using the stock spacers. The cush and sprockets are specific to Dymag, can't use the stock ones.

Your RC rotors will bolt right up to these wheels. They have the same bolt template and are the correct size (obviously) so you wouldn't want the 929/954 rotors anyway. I have read the axles are the same size, but don't know about the spacer offset.

Re: FS: DYMAG 5-spoke Magnesium 929/954 wheels

I just went and measured the length of the axles including spacers.

Front: 6 5/16 inches or 16.1 cm, spacers are fixed to the bearings as one piece.

Rear: 9 3/16 inches or 23.3 cm; spacer on the rotor side is fixed; spacer on the sprocket side comes off so it could possibly use a different size for the wheel to fit different bikes.

Quoted from another site:

"The rear wheels are a direct bolt on procedure. My 00 wheel went right on a 01 929. The front wheel requires all the guts replaced in the wheel, bearings, spacers and sleeve inside wheel. The 929 uses a different front axle."

I stand corrected if this is accurate. I remember reading something about Blade wheels on an RC over on Roque and possible misunderstood what they said . . .

No one corrected that post, so I'm taking it as gospel. It came from Rogue so I put a little faith in it!

Roger that. When I was doing my RC51 front end conversion, I had a set of 929/954 rotors that I test-fitted to the RC51 front wheel and they went straight on.

So logically, RC rotors would then mount to Dymags for a 929/954.

These are approximate because I pulled the stock wheels off my 954 to weigh them, and they have rotors and tires mounted. I then had to weigh a spare set of rotors and tires and subtracted that from my stock wheels to come up with an approximate bare weight. Everything has been weighed on the same scale so at least the numbers are relative to each other and you can have a fairly accurate difference between the stock and Dymag.

Looks to me like a difference of about 1.2 lbs Front, and about 3.3 lbs Rear.

I did not account for the weight of air in any way, shape, or form. If you know the weight of the air in the tires then just subtract that from the weights I posted.
