| Re: FS: 954 front suspension and brake parts The link to the bike pics didn't seem to work, it just took me to the Webshots homepage... I'm not using Ohlins, just standard RC51 forks on a 919. I bought an entire 954 front end for this project and then realized that the 954 forks are 1.5 inches shorter than the forks I have on the bike. The 954 uses a 3/4" lowered top clamp , but I'd still be looking at a 7/8" drop. It's not a HUGE drop, and some guys did this conversion and love the way it rides with the shorter 954 legs, but others hated it. I decided not to risk it and went with the longer RC51 legs. Now I have a bunch of 954 stuff to get rid of... -Mike Quote:
