FS: 2002 Honda 954rr $6400- So Cali

Up for sale is a 2002 Honda CBR 954RR. It has 17,000 miles on the stock motor, with many, many more miles available to please its next owner. It just got tune-up (valve adjustment, oil change, bike inspection) and is not due for another in a couple thousand or so. Oil change has been done religiously every 3,000 miles with Motul 15W-50. New tires (Pirelli Diablo) have been installed on the bike an have less than 200 miles on them. The bike has a pristine Erion slip-on exhaust and stock one will be included. The chain was replaced at 10,000 miles with a better one. The seat is a Sargent seat that is most comfortable and the stock one will be included. The undertail is cleaned up with an undertail kit and custom license plate mount. The turn signals up front are flush. The windscreen is blacked out. The pillion seat has a cover that matches the bike, but is not a seat cowl, it’s just a cover so the rear seat is still usable. Also has Galfer stainless steel brake lines.

The bike has no mechanical problems whatsoever and runs like a tank. It has not been any accidents, but has a few scratches here and there from rocks and who knows what. The scratch on the frame is from my knee rubbing against it. It’s a “manufacturers” defect. Other than some blemishes, this bike will not give you any problems.

Here are some details about the bike: it is fast, agile, and very reliable, I’ve ridden it to Seattle and back without any problems except for a sore crotch. This thing handles like a dream and you won’t be disappointed by its speed and dexterity through the twisties, on the highway, or crusing around town.

Email Gary at gazertron@hotmail.com or call me at (909)-783-0645. I check email frequently and I’m always up, so call/email me anytime. I’m located in Colton, near Riverside and wouldn’t mind meeting halfway to show you the bike or even deliver. Asking price is $6,400.

I think it looks friggin awesome and I will keep my ears open for anyone in the market.

How's that slip on sound? Is the Erion loud?

the slip-on is not that loud at all, but noticably louder than the stock exhaust. its pretty deep and throaty, but still has a slight high pitche to it. kinda hard to describe. in my opinion, the devil sounds the best on the 954, but that was out of my price range. i have a clip of how it sounds, but i gotta find a way to post it up. ill post one asap so check back
