| Re: 929 and 954 parts Hey there, I'm in need of a new chain, but I'm not quite sure if I really need the stuff your offer. What will this chain and sprockets change? Do you know what the stock chain specs are for the 954? Thanks I may be interested in the steering dampener also. Never heard of Toby before, Any good? |

| Re: 929 and 954 parts Stock chain specs for a 954 are 16T front 43T rear - 530. The 520 chain is a lighter weight chain, and is the x-ring style chain. To use the 520 chain you need to change the front and rear sprockets to the 520 size.
The Toby steering damper is very good. Completely rebuildable, adjustable, CNC machined brackets. |

| Re: 929 and 954 parts info on Toby dampers Toby motorcycle steering dampers Toby steering dampers are designed with an expansion valve/chamber which automatically compensates for changes in oil temperature. This gives a consistent dampening action under changes in temperature due to atmospheric conditions and racing use.
To provide optimal control in a wide range of riding conditions, the Toby Damper offers 25 adjustments. These adjustments will suit any riding style.
Each kit is specifically designed for particular sport bikes. The attention to detail in the design and construction of mounting brackets is second to none.
All Toby steering dampers are completely re-buildable.
The Toby Steering Damper is the lightest offered. The 290 mm damper (with bracket) weighs 12 ounces
Toby steering damper body's are made from lightweight aluminum avional 22. The internal surface is micro polished by ballizing and hard anodized to provide the most consistent and long lasting slide surface.
The rod end is aluminum Ergal 65 and is self-lubricating.
Both caps feature anti dust PTFE seals to protect against atmospheric conditions.
All steel and aluminum pieces are treated for anti-oxidation.
The piston and set rods are built with chrome steel material C45 with a roughness RA=+. 15
All mounting hardware is machined aluminum avional 22.
The arm joints are self lubricating and are polished after anodizing. |

yes, he packages like a madman. I unpacked my box at work, and tried to repack it before I left for home...i don't know how he got everything in that box so neatly with so much bubble wrap!
i'd definately buy from him again!
btw karls...these PP rearsets, i'm assuming you ran normal shifting? can they be used for gp shifting? i really haven't looked at them and I may be wrong. |

| Re: 929 and 954 parts Back in town and will respond to all messages!
Went to Laguna for the Moto GP, great time. Not the results I would have liked to see, really sorry to see Hopper and Hayden get together early in the race. Weather was really nice this year, not like the blast furnace heat wave last year.
The PP tuning rearsets are standard shift only.
Sorry, both tanks have sold. I will update the list a little later today with parts still available.

hell, you should have just sold me the 954 instead!
you are being PM'ed I'll try to do a step-by-step writeup on the 929/954 swap...too bad this won't make my lap times better, unless not dropping the bike in the pits while putting it up on the stand count
