I'm parting out my complete 1996 CBR900RR, since I recently bought a Ford Powerstroke diesel truck that's sucking away most of my time and money. Seems like I can get more money for it in pieces than selling it whole.

I bought the bike from a guy that laid it down then bought a gsxr 1000 instead of fixing this one. Nothing major damge-wise, mostly cosmetic.

Highlights:

Straight frame with a clean title (CA).

Practically new, complete 99 bodywork and tank I never installed. Won it on eBay, but then I rode the bike naked with the old tank on it... color scheme Black/white/red.

Strong engine. Bike has less than 12K miles. I can do a compression/leakdown on it if you like.

17" front wheel upgrade. I think an F3 wheel, identical to the 900RR but 17", bought it black with a polished lip, had it repainted all black.

New Pilot Power tires (less than 50 miles) front and rear.

New Stator cover.

New Windshield (dark smoke).

K&N filter.

Rebuilt Carbs

Pretty much everything on it is in excellent shape, except some rash on the left footpeg, and a cracked tab on the speedo cluster (not visible).

If anyone is looking for parts, let me know. I can't possibly list every part and a price. I would like to offer the parts here, since I got great info from the site, but if I need to break it down by part and price to satisfy forum rules, then I might as well just post them on eBay and close this ad.

how much for the pilot powers and the parts needed for te 17 conversion or how much for just the rear?
