Nice bike though, and forgive me if I'm wrong. |

Good luck with the sale - BUMP | Hey buddy, you've been a lot of help. I love the bike... but I just can't get over the thought of buying a new/newer bike and keeping it for a long while and making it mine, my own unique thing. I was in the midst of looking at newer bikes and this one popped up... it was a week of warm weather and I just had the urge to have a bike right then and there so I could ride, but I keep kicking myself for not getting what I REALLY wanted. So now it sits around in the garage till Spring or it sells. Quote:

Nice bike though, and forgive me if I'm wrong. | Yeah, I was skeptical about it too. I did say the bike fell off the kickstand, I did mention it had fallen. I confronted the previous owner asking why it was so scuffed. His statement was that he had it in the garage and was rolling it into the driveway to get it outside, 'rolling it out by pushing off with my feet', ya know, like bicycling the bike out. He said he was pushing it out and foot slipped out on him and he and the bike went down at like a whole 2 or 3mph. Other than that, there are no signs of scratches/scuffs/damage. Bike frame came out clean at the shop. I apologize for the mis-communication.
Going off that, the only situation I've had with the bike(and you guys helped me) was a spark plug came loose. I was worried and feared it was some big horrible mess, but after getting to the plugs, when whoever installed these newer ones, apparently they didn't tighten them down all the way. One was loose another was a hair loose. I tightened them and it's been perfect.

I see these other bikes pop up(Repsol's, a newer 1000) and I'm giddy about getting one, then I remember I don't have the money to go out and get it. I put a few things on this bike, it does look sharp and sounds good with the slip-on I just installed last week(I'm tryin to get a video up here soon so ya can hear it)... but your right.

Guy from Memphis called(from this site I believe) and said he'd give $5600 asking price for it, but he won't pick it up for three weeks, would like to clear it out asap. |

| How about you making sense. You stated the bike didn't have anything wrong and it's apparent by your pics that there's rash on the stator cover and the clutch lever is bent.
Good luck with the sale...

Good luck with the sale... | I say never down as in, never down riding... it fell over while being pushed. But the clutch lever does not appear bent or damaged, as there is also absolutely no 'damage' to it at all. |

| Re: 2003 Honda CBR954 - Missouri Where the prev owner fell over, it may have pushed the clutch handle but wouldnt there be signs of damage?
Think of it like a safety feature, stops your hand sliding off

Not trying to bust your balls but, If it just fell over from being pushed why was it in the shop to come out clean? Does it have a clear or salvage title? |
