2001 CBR 929RR Engine -- Lots of pics & details

Hi. My name is Justin. I'm parting out my custom 929RR (black & chrome) that I wrecked last year. I'm an ebay power seller (over 1,100 feeback and 100% rating...ebay name: intriguingreptiles) so you can buy with confidence.

For sale: 2001 Honda CBR 929RR complete engine (read below for details)

Asking Price: $699 + freight shipping (~$175-250 terminal to terminal). Local pickup is also an option if you happen to be near Washington, PA (15301). Included would be just about everything that goes with the engine (complete engine, new plugs & coil packs, carbon fiber clutch, starter, sensors, hoses, etc., but would not include the stator cover or clutch covers as I sold them already (they were chrome)).

Details:

This engine is from my 2001 CBR 929RR that had 19k miles on it. The engine started right up after the wreck and idles, revs and sounds fine. No leaks, no cracked case or any kind of major damage! Always well maintained and oil changed every 2-3k miles with Honda GN4 oil and a new filter. I installed a new light weight carbon fiber clutch (with new springs) in it about 800 miles before I wrecked the bike...engine revs very fast now. It also had it's 16k mile tuneup (done at 18k miles) at my local Honda shop which was completed about 1k miles before I wrecked. That included new plugs and new coil packs among other stuff that doesn't really matter now like new fluids, filters, ect. Only damage to the engine is to one of the holes/tabs on the left side of block where the frame/engine bolt goes (not the hole the frame slider bolt goes in, but the one that's closer to your left knee when on the bike). It did not hurt the block since this hole is drilled into a dedicated tab) and the bolt still fits in the damaged hole. See included picture.

Shipping:

If you would need this shipped, it would have to be shipped freight. I've shipped a bunch of engines (bike and car) and the cheapest way is always terminal to terminal (which means I have to drop it off at my local freight terminal and you would have it pick it up at your local freight terminal...residential deliveries can cost nearly 2x as much especially if you need to use their lift gate services, but residential delivery is an option too if you want pay for it.). Price usually ranges from about $175-$250 for a crated street bike engine terminal to terminal. If interested in having it shipped, please send me your zip code and I'll calculate freight shipping options via freightquote.

Local pick-up is also an option.

Payment:

Payment is to be made via PayPal only. I do accept credit cards and debit cards via PayPal. No money orders or checks.

Questions?? Feel free to contact me via PM with any questions or offers you may have. You can also email me at: justin@intriguingreptiles.com

Thanks,

Justin

Pictures below are of the actual engine for sale and were taken earlier today. More pics available upon request. The chrome frame is not included with the engine. I will make a listing for it and a few other chrome parts over the weekend.

dontay23 -- I was going to send you a PM, but you don't have them turned on. I don't have too many other parts left, but I'll let you know what's still available. Send me a PM. Thanks.

PRICE REDUCED -- $595/OBO. I found a 1000RR on craigslist that I want to go checkout and possibly purchase Saturday and could use the extra funds. Would like to sell this asap. SEND AN OFFER MY WAY IF INTERESTED! No reasonable offer refused. Contact me via email or PM with any questions or offers. Thanks!
