For sale: VERY RARE & NO LONGER IMPORTED...BOS Underseat Exhaust System for the CBR 929RR!!! Guys (& girls) this system is among the most badass of exhaust systems for the 929RR. You can no longer purchase these new and there were literally only a few dozen of them ever imported/sold here in the states. This system cost over $2,100 new (plus the pipes were chrome plated before being installed...$2,500 invested).

The system includes the chromed underseat exhaust system (system is from the HTEV back...it's designed to work with the factory header and HTEV), a special battery tray, replacement marker lights/turn signals, some special mounting brackets/plate and a custom tail section that all must be used with the exhaust system in order for the system to work. I also have a new spare brake light lens that will be included.

The tail section suffered some light rash from the wreck, but it's an easy repair for any decent body shop (or anyone who has fiberglass repair skills). I took it to my local body shop after the wreck to get their opinion on it being fixable and they said they could repair and repaint it for $85.

The heat shield on the exhaust (purple thing in the pics) that protects your right foot/heel from the pipes did get scratched up and would need refinished (see pics). The rest of the system is in good shape aside from a few very light scratches on one of the cans (see pics).


Price: $745 -- Will Consider Offers! Cosidering how rare the system is, the fact that it isn't imported anymore/can no longer be purchased new and the fact that it was in a wreck (although it survived with minimal damage) I wasn't sure exactly where to price this. So I have priced it at less than 1/3 of what I have into it as a starting point...which I think is a pretty good deal for an impossible to find system like this. The asking price, however, is negotiable. Please feel free to send an offer my way.
