954 Items for sale

Cleaning out the garage and I got some items for sale. I know the rule is post pics. I promise I'll get them tonight for you. I just happen to be at work with a little time to post.

954 Race plastics : Not painted but are primered. Never been down. Only mounted on the bike useing factory mount points. $250 + shipping

03' 954 Engine : This was the original motor in my bike. I ran into trasmission issues and replaced the motor. I did pull the motor apart and inspect it. No additional damage but transmission was worn out. The cases are currently split but I have all the pieces minus the transmission to put it all back together. Motor ran flawless untill the trans issue. $350 + shipping.

OEM Titanium and black farings : Complete set (does not include gas tank)minus the front faring and I'll even through in the air duct covers and inner farring peices and a tinted windscreen. All plastics have minor rash on them. None of them are cracked or rash groved from the wreck. It mainly took the paint and stickers out so these can very easily be repaired. $400 + shipping

Some of the prices have a little room in them if someone wants to make a deal.

Race plastics as I recall are Catalyst Composite. Fitment was excellent for me. I'll get some pics tonight and send them out. I'll have to get exact measurements of the box I'll use to ship them but the shipping to that zipcode should be around $65 to $70. I'll let you know for sure when I measure.

Let me know what the weight and size is also. I could possibly send you labels from my work. Then all you would have to do is drop it off at a UPS pickup. Thanks

Cases are currently split and transmission removed. Valve cover, head, pistons, crank ect ect are still together. Pretty much get a trans for it, put the cases together, put the clutch and stator with covers back on and put the oil pan on and it's good to go.

I'll have to do some checking on cost to ship a motor.

I have a current pending sale on the motor right now. If shipping can be worked out at a reasonable price it is sold. If shipping turns out to be too much 0f a headache and not cost effective I'll be more then happy to sell you the motor and have you come pick it up. I'll know the answers to all this by the end of the day.

*UPDATE*

I'm getting a lot of PM's, responses and emails concerning the motor I am selling. I want to be very clear on it just so that everyone knows what they will be purchasing.

This is the original motor out of my 2003 CBR 954RR. It has 29K on the clock. I took meticulous care of this engine while it was in the bike as I worked at a few bike shops and had access to time and materials. Full syn. oil changes every 2000 miles, both recommended vlave checks completed, dyno tuned ect ect. When I ran into transmission issues while on a trip to deals gap I trailered the bike back home and removed the engine from the bike. The engine was broken down just far enough to remove and inspect the transmission. The transmission dogs were found to be worn out and since I had access to another 954 engine I decided to swap engines rather then replace the transmission and rebuild the motor.

With all that being said the top of the motor was never taken apart. Valve cover, gasket, head, pistons, crank ect ect ect have NOT been removed or tampered with in any way. This engine has not run in just over 2 years but had absolutly no issues other then the transmission. I have every single bolt and part needed to put it back together minus the transmission. The only piece I ahev ever swaped off of it is the stator cover as I recently had a slow speed wreck which scratched the cover on my current motor. The motor will come with the scratched cover but it does NOT leak and is not cracked.

I personally recommend that who ever does purchase this engine does a complete inspection just to make sure nothing is out of place, no little bits or peices have fallen into the motor kinda thing. Again ... to the best of my knowledge all the potential buyer need do is put a good transmission in and assemble the motor.

Please let me know if there are any other questions. I know I'm slacking on the pics of it but I'll have them this weekend. Finding time during the week to drag it out of the garage, lay everything out and get pics is a hard to do with the hours I work.

is it possible to adapt 954 plastics to a 929? or even just the tail? if so, im def interested in your OEM plastics.........

I posted in your thread. You'll need a 954 subframe to use the 954 tail farring.

The front upper is the only one I do not have .. broke in 2 places and can't be used.

OEM Plastics pics.

As you can see it's all very minor surface/decal damage. I didn't notice it untill I took these pics but the left side farring has a small crack in it which is shown in pic in the 4th row 2nd from the left. Lucky though .. it's on the edge of the farring that actually wraps in toward the radiator and isnt more then an inch long. Installed on the bike you can not see it.

No broken tabs!!!!

Sorry ... don't have any VFR parts but you can always post up in the wanted section. There are a lot of VFR riders on this site.
