Sato rearsets for 954 for $382 on parts411.com. Anyone know how this is going to affect Dan?

I didn't mean it that way, i'm sure Dan will survive selling Sato or not, just wondered how it would affect him. There are guys on this board who will buy the sato stuff, but will find the best price, screw so called "dealer loyalty". You mean to tell me you would rather pay $475 than $382.

Yeah, I did repeat myself, sorry, in a hurry. Since i'm at work, I usually get in a hurry closing windows whne my boss comes buy.

Anyway, just curious if Dan would lower his prices, that's all. I'd gladly give him the business if he were "close" to other prices.

Parts411 sucks donkey nuts, I won't go into it but I issues with backordered products that they charged me for and they tried very hard not to return me my money. Then I found Dan, have had nothing but great service, I for one know where I am getting my parts from.

Before you spend $ with them, call Dan and ask him why they can charge that amount etc. Give Dan the chance to address this, he might even cut you a deal.

i'll second that. I was going to order 6 oil filters and a pit bull pin, not the stand just the pin. Those two items they wanted 33.00 shipping. Needless to say I didn't order from them.

I wouldnt give these clowns money unless youwalded into their store and they had what you wanted. They wanted $30 to ship an $8 package 40 miles.

Most of you know that you get what you pay for. There will always be somebody cutting price. But do you want to be the one whinning on this board about the @*#!ing ripoff b/c of shipping, late delivery, or some other BS that pissed you off. DK, has treated members of this board with good service. So far I have not seen any posting that DK has ripped anyone off or given bad service to. I say factor that into your buying equation, especially if you are buying from a really distant business. My 2 cents, and yes I think DK rocks.

I'm not sure what's going on now with Parts411, but the prices are all now listed at "suggested retail" and there's just a listing of parts and prices, no button for "add to shopping cart".

BTW, their website sucks donkey dong, what a pile of sh!t.

Parts 411 used to be one of my sponsers for 2003 season.. I was able to get 15-25% of there already low prices... The good thing is that i only live about 15 minutes from them so when i had problems i could physically walk in there and solve the problem

They have since discontinued there rider support program for 2004 for no apperant reason whatsoever.

But from all the times i ordered from them i never had any problems... There shipping charges are a little high but thats why i always picked things up from them...

But there are some crack heads that work there
