Rear ride hight

Can anybody tell me how to adjust the rear ride hight on a 1998 RRW Blade. Also has anybody got any good settings for the suspension on this bike.
I will be dropping it about 10mm at the front, not sure about rear yet. I wiegh 11 stone and am 5'8" high. I mostly ride on bumpy roads.

Thanks
Mark Jones

Re: Rear ride hight

It's probably not adjustable. You would need an aftermarket shock w/ride height adjustability. The most you could probably do(depending on the upper mount) is put a washer or 2 between the upper mount and the frame.

Re: Rear ride hight

Hi Mark
I read your post on the blade uk site and i'm sorry i didn't reply quicker.
Rear ride hight is not easily adjustable, you can wind up the rear preload wich has the effect of increasing ride height but its not ideal. The other way to do it is to have the linkage modified.

As for settings I am useing the Performance Bike settings on my rrt and they seam to work well. The only thing that spoils the party slightly is that the rear shock is passed its best and starts to fade if you are trying hard for a long period of time. K-tech are going to have a look at it when funds alow.
PB settings for yours are as follows.
Rear shock
Comp 1/4 turn from max
Rebound 1/2 turn from max
Preload 4th notch from max(3rd if over 14 stone or 2 up)

Forks
static sag with rider 31mm
comp 1 1/4 turns from max
rebound 1 turn from max
preload 3 lines showing

hth

cheers
Sean

PS dropping 10mm through the yokes is alot and it may make it very twichy. try those settings first and then try 2mm through the yokes if it still isn't fast enough for you

Re: Rear ride hight

Thanks for that.

I dropped the front by 10mm and have done this on every bike I had but on the blade it seems to steer a bit too quick so going to try 3mm and see how it goes.
