HELP Please, I F&*(ked up!

Ok here It goes I screwd up the rear rebound damping ajusting screw

Whent to do some more prep on the bike since I cannot ride. Decided to try a new suspension setup.

It is pretty cold aroud 0C every ajustment screw moved fine besides the bottom one on the rear susp. I put some wd-40 on it cause it was dirty from chain wax and road grime. Let it rest a couple of minutes and tried it again, a little hard then way to fu$%king easy, It will turn forever on either side?

Questions:
1- Am I in deep SH?&t?
2- Is it possible to change that part? If so how hard is it? How much $$$
3- Is it time for olhins?

Thanks

Time for Ohlins, if that is what you want. This has happened to many members here, it just seems to be "one of those things." It can only be fixed by fitting an aftermarket shock. Darn it.......... hehehehehe.....

No actually I was looking for the cheapest way to fix this. I am trying to save up a little to change bikes next year.

Do you know if the part is changable?

Re: HELP Please, I F&*(ked up!

Do you have a 929 or 954? I have both rear shocks laying around I'll part with cheap.

If you want it, I can send the 929 (2000, white spring) rear shock out tomorrow, the 954 shock is at a friends house and will take me till tuesday before I can get it. E-mail me at Admin@cbr929rr.com incase I forget to check the forum.

Re: HELP Please, I F&*(ked up!

Ok I scraped the ajustment screw because the bottom of the rear shock is the place where there is the most condentation and I tried tu turn the screw when it was frozen.

The ajustment didn't move so the bike is still ok to ride.

To bad I had to lurn the hard way.
