What do you mean by ignition on? :idunno:
Is the bike running and warmed up when the fan turns on and temp light comes on?
Is your bike actually getting that hot?
If it has gotten so hot that the warning light comes on and the display is flashing, then you already may have caused damage - maybe a blown head gasket... Any water in your engine oil, or exhaust smell in your cooling system?
Have you gone through the radiator system, radiator is clear and flowing, hoses are in good shape, no kinks or blockage? Have you burped the cooling system? replaced the rad cap?
Engine is not running, just turn contact . The engine is flooded, probably is a problem in the installation due to water. Before flooding everything was ok.
I'm just not following you. Sorry.
What is the engine flooded with? Coolant? Gasoline? It's an FI bike, so I'm guessing you don't mean gasoline...
What exactly do you mean by 'flooded'?
Sounds like you have a bad coolant temp sensor. If you changed one in radiator, maybe check one in motor.. also.. you could have a short.. like a pinched wire going to the sensor.. seen that befor.. or it could be burn on exhaust.. ect..
Unplug the sensor on the thermostat. switch ignition on.. fan hi? take a paperclip and jump the two contacts on the plug on the harness.. fan hi? If fan stays constant the whole time problem elsewhere.. Ill get back to you later. Heading off to work
Sorry, if you could explane me one more time what should i do next after switching ignition on. I did not understood what shoud I do whit paperclip. My english is not very good so i not shure what "fan hi" means. Thanks in advance
Ok take the plug off of the temp sensor on the motor.. then the two contacts in the plug, jump that with a paperclip.. like as to connect them completing the circut.. Fan high i meant by is the fan still on?
Thank you very much, I solved the problem with fan, wire connects to the map sensor, but now the engine is running at 3000 rpm for 15 seconds and then turns off. :idunno:
