I have found a video where a guy has the same swingarm conversion that I do but what I am curious about is where do I get the spacer and what size rim and rubber should I be looking for?
OK, I watched the video, and I see a bike tire on a car wheel. That's what you mean?
The spacer looks like a one-off but I could be wrong - it could also be a spacer from the custom car scene. The first thing I'd figure out is the stud pattern in the VFR hub.
Or heck, message the guy who made the video and ask him for info...
On mine, a 98 CBR900RR. I have already done the SSSA swap out, you can see my baby in my signature. Here is the swingarm I have on mine. (Sorry for the quality of the pic, had to get under the bike.)
its all about the off set if I remember right for the 954 it was between like 39mm an 43mm was recommended. I did 18 x8 with a 42mm offset. used 1.25in 4/100 hub spacer fits like a glove.
only thing I would take into consideration is the vfr swinger on mine is off a newer vfr. yours is from an older vfr I don't know if the measurements are the same.
