| paint opinions? well, me and the wife were sitting in the garage looking at our bikes. We saw how close they looked. She then thought it'd be pretty neat if they were almost twins. We're thinking of painting her tail and front fender black. Here's a before and after pic. The after pic sucks because all I have is MSPaint to work with. | Re: paint opinions? Absolutely worth doing, in my view, 2k2. It can't help but bring you and your wife closer together.  How good are you with a spray can? Or would you rather lay out some long green for professional work instead?   You'll probably have to get the passenger seat re-upholstered to complete the look. Hmmm, and new stock tail stickers must be part of the package, naturally.  Looks like a great little project to me. Go for it, dude.  |

| Re: paint opinions? My friend owns a body shop so I'd have it professionally done for free. I was going to get a rear seat cowl and have it painted at the same time. Also, I had planned on getting the 600f4i in white letters so it'd show up on the black. The biggest thing affecting the decision now is how much the matching paint is going to cost. Mark |

I think you'll only need about a pint for that and I paid like $30 for a pint of gloss black from Dupont. My question is where did you get your 954RR sticker on your tail section? I just took off my white numberplates and need a sticker to go there. Dano |

| Re: paint opinions? Well I wasnt around for the 70's so I'm not sure but that whole couples trying to match things they both own seems pretty lame to me but it may have been cool back in the day. |

My question is where did you get your 954RR sticker on your tail section? I just took off my white numberplates and need a sticker to go there.
