I don't think Loctite is necessary, if the bolts are torqued to correct values.
| Yea, I didn't loctite them either, just torqued them down to the what the manual indicated. |

| Re: Frame Sliders We've had plenty of bikes go down with the alloy sliders on and haven't done ****. Anyway, each to their own. And like the guy above, most guys just put them on for show. When that's the case, annodised alloy is gonna be heaps beter lookin than black plasitc no? Haha |

| Re: Frame Sliders I just got new sliders and wanted to make sure I put the correct torque on them. 29 is the correct torque for the 954 frame slider bolts right?

But anyway, I've sold heaps of them. Of the guys that have gone down, no damage that was more than ordinary sliders. The guy that makes them just binned his SP1 racing it. They saved plenty, damaged nothing. Just an option for guys that want something different. |
