Cold weather bad for bike?

I live in Ohio, and lately the weather here has been changing drasticly. I have been keeping my motorcycle outside because during the day, it is sometimes warm enough to ride. However, at night time, it is dipping down into the 30's and sometimes below freezing. Should I get my bike out of this cold? Is it doing any damage? If so... what is being damaged?

The cold is fine. The salt on the roads is not. The cold roads can be dangerous but not to a parked motorcycle.

As long as you have antifreeze in there you should be fine

We have to store ours outside as well. We just invested in a high quality all weather motorcycle cover. They have done well with this. In the winter though we store them in a storage.

Nice to hear.

I have a carport for my bike to keep the elements off. In the long run I am sure a cover is cheaper, but I don't want to run up 3 flights of stairs to put it away.
