CB110 shocker

Holy smokes Batman! Has anyone ever experienced the nightmare that is the CB110???

I had one as a loan while my ride was being serviced and as well as being super lightweight, gutless and rolling on tyres that should have been on a pram, it had a dodgy wheel bearing to boot! To say it was all over the place is an understatement.

When I got back to the garage and told them about the bearing, they said "Oh yeah, we need to get that replaced"

Re: CB110 shocker

If I was given a loan bike with a dodgy wheel bearing I'd worry about what they'd missed on my own bike. That's why I do my own maintenance.

Re: CB110 shocker

Seems scary to think they knew about the bearings but still sent it out on loan at all..... I wonder how terrible it would be with good bearings? Stateside we do not get such small displacement bikes as (maybe not all states?) do not have a graduated licensing system. We basically pass the test (written and/or riding) and "Viola" - here's your license go jump on any bike you want and can afford. This, unfortunately, leaves little to no market for the smaller bikes =(

Re: CB110 shocker

I still have a soft spot for little bikes, especially two stroke, everyone needs a tiddler in their garage
