Stretching the tread.
Had to go into an office the other day. while i was taking curves and turns the bike felt a bit squigly... when i got to where i was going, i had a gander at the back tire... (should have totally done it sooner...) ther was a bit of tread showing.. and the damn thing was flat... bummer!! had a new one put on friday.. but haven't had a chance to do any riding on it yet... oh well... I id squeeze a good 9600 miles out of the first tire
