I ordered mine a few weeks ago... Can't wait til it arrives... If you watch moto gp or any other European racing on tv, you will notice the quality is not nearly as good as it is here in the states... I guess they just haven't quite caught up with us yet or something...

Ordered mine the same day. My 'One Man's Island' showed up last Friday.. I enjoyed that a lot. I'm hoping my FASTER arrives today! I would be stoked!!!

Bumemr to hear about the quality though.. crap.. still excited to see it.

The racing footage comes directly from DORNA, and is the same thing you see on T.V., so no the quality isn't up to movie standards, but isn't any worse that what everyone else sees.

Got mine last night and watched the whole thing. The PQ (picture quality) of the DVD isn't that great, especially when viewing on a plasma. However some scenes/parts had pretty good PQ, while other scenes had mediocre PQ. I guess they shot with different cameras?
One scene that had good PQ was when they were following Hopkins around and filming the track as the sun was rising.

Definitely great on the content! You get to hear Rossi refer to cagers as "Facking stupid drivers"! I nearly fell on the ground laughing when I heard him say that. Actually, it seems Rossi loves the F-word because you hear him drop the F-bomb several times throughout the DVD. Also got various expert opinions on the past and present 500cc/MotoGP scene.

All in all, definitely worth the money!

No problem.

However one concern I do have when I looked at the DVD cover is that it said, "Special Preview Edition". Does this mean there will another edition with more footage (as is, it's 100 some what odd minutes)? Does anybody if they are coming out with another version?

The special edition just means that it also has the footage from the Cannes film festival ride thingy. The full length movie is the same one I saw a couple times back in January.

hmmm...Okay. I guess my concern was the word "Preview". At any rate, if it's the same thing with additional footage from Cannes, then I'm a satisfied customer.

I'm seeing it tomorrow on the big screen (it's a local fundraiser for kiddies)!
Along with Jake Zemke, 4 time World Champion Doug Polen, Ian Maclean, few others.
Hopefully they'll also have DVD's so I can pick one up.

So, for those of you that have received your copies, can you give me some technical details on the DVD? Things like audio format (i.e. DD5.1) and video transfer (i.e. anamorphic widescreen or fullscreen). Thanks in advance.

Mine came two days ago. I think I watched the intro like 7 or 8 times before I started the movie. Gonna watch the whole thing again tonight!

Anyone reading this and not sure about buying the DVD...just do it!
