Last weekend I had a blast. What made it unusual, was that I was at a Harley dealership.

I and my friend Ron, led people on 25 minute demo rides of Buells and other Harley's. The route was around ten to fifteen miles with an assortment of curves and highway riding. On occassion, I rode my 954, but for the majority of the time, I rode a Buell XB9S. This bike was a load of fun.

Mind you it is not a dominating track machine, but it is extremely light and has a short wheelbase. As a result, it corners very easily . . . and that is what made it so much fun. I'm sure you have all had those moments where you are riding and laughing at the same time because your having TOO much fun. Well, that was me. I was pleasantly surprised by the bike's agility. So much so, that I want to add a Buell to my stable this winter.
The bike I rode had Buell's "race" muffler and ECM chip . . . in other words it made only around 90 horses. The only other down side was the placement of the mirrors interfered with the handling of the bike. If you can have two bikes, I think this bike should be one of them. It was a totally different experience . . . and change is good . . . I think.
