New bike advice

Looking at the possibility of buying a new bike. Looking for opinions here as I missed the Honda CRWU demo days in my area.

Most of my riding consists of 3 to 10 hour day trips (250-800km) through straight and twisty roads. I recently did my first track day and look forward to doing maybe 1 to 3 per riding season.

I was looking to get the 1000RR or the 600RR but from the reviews I have read comfort will be an issue (my 954 is as radical as I'd go for ergos cause at the end of an 800km day I need to stop a few times and stretch before I get home as I have long legs)

The bike I'm interested in is the VFR. How is this bike for comfort, power, handling, etc?

THE bike for what you describe. Not going to be as fun on the track though.

Re: New bike advice

The newer VFR's are fine on the track but they're not as sharp handling as the Blades. Otherwise the VFR is very comfortable on the road. I can ride all day on mine.

Will you be keeping your 954?

FZ1/FJR/ST/ZZR/Tuono/Bandit/SV1000

I don't at all get the ST/LD appeal of the VFR. It was less comfortable to me than the 954 with Helis on it.

I love my 954 and I love having the power of a liter bike for the street, but it would be very intimidating bringing that beast to the track without a lot of experience don't you think?
