| Re: Highside video Ohh. Ohhh. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.
That was a good video, if there is such a thing on that subject. Damn! The guy in the second one who got run over. Ouch.
I've only done it twice..
Once I got back on the bike somehow and did not crash, and the other time it spit me straight up twelve feet and I tumbled 129 feet. Left a gouge in the asphalt and came to looking at dirt through my visor and hearing someone say:"I'll call the ambulance."

| Re: Highside video Takes me back into the old times with bikes of the early 50s with terrible tyres for traction, & one-piece leather suits with no more then a bit of padding on the shoulders, elbows, hips,& knees. Good old "puddin' basin" helmets, pair of work boots to a thin leather pair of gloves. One of my problems was thinking I had slowed downenought & tried to get up only to do another wham on my kisser as still moving at a fair pace. To on another occasion or two to also find out one leg failed & turned out I had broken a leg or ankle.
Ah yes being run over by others is no fun & often that happened in flat tracking to the start of of a scramble. Sorry that has been called moto cross for some yrs now.
