| suspension settings I started to get into a discussion about suspension setting in a different thread and figured I might as well make a new one.
first off I don't really know what the settings do
second what I do know is that a harder suspension makes bumps rougher but sticks to the road better and a softer setting makes the ride smoother over bumps.
ok so here's my question, I weigh around 115pounds and have never touched my settings, I lowered the bike in the rear so obviously the front wheel does have a greater tendancy to want to get off the ground since the rear tire gets loaded more easily so basically what do each of the settings do and what should I be aiming for when changing them, I don't mind the ride to be a little hard, I actually think I'd prefer it a little more on the hard side than the soft side and I want it to handle really good and not be sloppy. any suggestions as to where I should go or should I just go out and start playing with stuff 1 or 2 clicks at a time and ride it in between to see if I like what I did?
