Oh and btw, the wave is stoopid and should be banned.... Ban The Wave | I thought the older pre-evo ones leaked because they had a built in chain oiler.
It seems everyone enjoyed and understood the humor in my ebay ad but you ... and now you are "against the wave".
Why so sensitive about this topic? Hit close to home or something? |

I'm just saying I don't agree with judging them for it, and all I ask is like treatment in return....

I wave at people I see driving a nice old car, do you think thats stupid? | Yeah, I can't really understand any rationale behind purposely not waving. I wave at most other bikers regardless of what they are on. It's probably just my own desperate and subconscious plea for acceptance and "validation".
There is ONE rider I try not to wave at. Some guy around here rides a GoldWing modded to be a threewheeler. He only has his right arm. Everytime I see him (two or three times now) I wave and then realize he can't wave back without careening off the roadway. He never wears a helmet and I swear you can see him curse me as we pass each other. |

I'm just saying I don't agree with judging them for it, and all I ask is like treatment in return.... | there's nothing really wrong with not waving, but lets say you're walking down the street if someone waves at you, you're first inclination is to wave back (along with the thought, who the f is this, if you don't know them)
I only judge the ones that give me that look like he's judging me and my bike because they aren't a Harley. my friend's dad who has a Harley is an awesome guy (even though he makes fun of sportbikes for having a tool kit, I just say thats adjustability in a bag and I can change my oil without having to use any other tool). my uncle is a harley guy (even though he doesn't ride) but when he finally saw my bike last week he just stared at it for like an hour and says its a really nice machine.

that sucks but its awesome that he rides. I'd feel like such a dick if I waved knowing he had only one hand. but that bike has to have some nice mods and tricks to ride it with one hand other than the third wheel.

| Re: ebay Harley description I tried a new philosophy this weekend. I didn't wave first, and anyone that waved at me was greeted with an extended middle finger. I also yelled, "**** you!" as loudly as possible at them but I feel this was somewhat ineffective with my helmet on.
It felt surprisingly fulfilling. I feel I am now well on my way to being a middle-aged cynic. |
