Do they chip?

I have seen some great looking Carbon Fiber Wheels, but now I have to wonder when pebbles/smaller rocks hit them, does it chip...

It'd suck if so, because, that's like 3k down the hole!

Bud, there are so many ways to spend $3,000 on your F4i that don't include carbon fiber hoops....

Carbon Fiber is stronger & tuffer then Kevlar which stronger & tuffer then fiberglass.They make Sikorsky airframes out of this Which they previously made out of Kevlar.F1,CART,IRL cars are made out of this.This is a very strong to weight ratio composite material.The MFG's Wouldn't EVEN think about sellig these if they were worried about a simple little chip from a stone which would lead to a fatigue failure, leads to accident,leads to LAW SUIT. If you have the $$$ & want'em don't worry about reliability.
