Pocket bikes in Aus...

Saw them on Ebay and am thinking of picking one up. they look like fun, just gotta find somewhere fun and safe to ride them! Kinda hoping a few friends will pick some up too so we can race and stuff. Seems you can pick up the knock offs for about $500- $800, which seems reasonable to me...

Very reasonable and fun...just gotta find some place super tight and twisty. Otherwise you top the gear out and that's no fun.

Re: Pocket bikes in Aus...

Yer I had a bash on them the other month...great fun...but the bike I was ridng was pretty limited, still when I claw back from financial wellbeing after getting the real deal I think I'll grab one too.

I know of at least one track that has regular race meets so that might be where I kick off with a few races. Check out the local go-cart tracks to see if they offer anything, or markout some space in a parking lot on the weekend with a few witches hats.

I'd say it would be more fun though if you could rope some local mates into getting one as well so there is a little bit of friendly competition.
