Got me thinking about some of the sayings we use here in southern Indiana that could be worked into these threads....
For example...when the locals hit their thumb with a hammer, they usually say..."Damn, that Conq's an asshole!" See, what sounds like name calling, is really just a quaint colloquialism.....
"Damn straight...dumbasses."
See how that works....

| Re: rear braking...? There is an article with Rossi in the latest AMCN And Rossi says he uses 80% front 20% rear on road and track!
Here is one of his quotes
"When Im on the street, I also use the rear brake very much to make the rear slide so that I can understand the level of grip. But be carefull where you do this!"
I know a lot of people say that you have to be very experianced or skilled to use the rear, so they advise not to use it! I dont agree with this, how the hell are you ever going to become skilled or experianced at using the rear if you never use it??? this is exactly the reason so many people are unable to safely use the rear because they abstain from using it

There is a response that I wish I could have come up with. My rear braking has not got me in trouble since the mid 70's on that CB750F when I locked it up in a turn while playing boy racer, looking back over my shoulder to check the cars behind, and turning forward to see the rock wall. That pretty much was a defining moment in my relatively new motorcycle/rider relationship.
From strange whatever Do you? Take a breath before trying to take on the world and maybe this whole thread will make more sense (or at least the part prior to your nambla-ish statements).
You must be one strange piece of shiit to come up with that nambla coment.
If you new the slightest thing about me, you would avoid me for the for the remainder of your life after bringing that gem into this conversation, or you would appologize.

The mention of this type of thing (in jest or not) is not tasteful on any level. Unfortunately my judgement at the time of such postings was not in the best of mind, and for this act - I hereby apologize.
I also want to clarify that the statement above is not in response to the 'or' argument above, but solely due to my own thoughts on the incident in regard to the seriousness of an issue in a reply I made. |
