| If I dont know... what fluids the previous owner used (although I am almost sure they are the honda fluids) should I drain whats in there and fill it up with what I want.
I want to bleed the brakes but I am not sure what kind of fluid the previous owner used
I was thinking about just draining it all out and just filling it with the motul but at the same time might as well get some SS lines while I am going through the trouble. |

| Re: If I dont know... Upgrade to the SS barake lines and then use the motul brake fluid. You shouldnt have any problems as long as you flush the system good. Dont forget to add a banjo bolt bleeder in your upgrade |

I can get the motul and lines but usually have to order the banjo bleeder bolt from somewhere else |

Perhaps they still do. One less thing to try and track down... |

Yeah if you have the time, I'd change the oil, drain the coolant, put in new oil/coolant. Drain the brake fluid from the front brakes, rear, and clutch, and put in some Motul 5.1 or ATE superblue. You'll have fun but you'll start writing checks :p |

Only good thing for me is that my bday is fri so I am just thinking what I want/need. Not sure what I want (Satos not being an option ) though since I just got my sato clipons
I figured brakes first b/c they feel a little spongy so that would be where I was starting. While I have the lines empty I might as well put on the new lines
Then onto the oil/filter. Then the coolant. |
