Yoshimura exhaust?

After reading alot of post about exhaust systems I still have not heard any reviews on the yosh. system full or slip on. Anyone out there with the yosh. that could give me some feedback good or bad??

This doesnt help you too much I guess, but another 954 drag racer buddy has a full Yosh, he's only a slight bit slower than me, 1.5 tenths roughly in the 1/8th, but in the 1/4, I have him by 4-5 tenths, but I have slight motor work.

I've had more Yoshi products on my bikes than any other pipemaker's wares. They are top notch IMO. High quality, sturdy construction, they make good power and look nice. They are not as light as, say, a full Akrapovic, Arata or TiForce system (Yoshi uses stainless tubing on their street applications - the aforementioned pipes have thinwall ti tubing that will save you some weight on the race track).

If you're talking about the S/O for your 954, I had one of those on my 954 as well. It was a ti RS-3, round, the only shape they make for the 954 S/O. Sounded great, a little louder than the Akrapovic S/O I had on the bike earlier.

The best bang for your buck tends to be the full Hindle. That's the route I'd go if I had it to do over again. Inexpensive, makes great power, and it's light.

Re: Yoshimura exhaust?

I havent had any experience with Yosh but from what I have read and heard from non-biased riders its a real nice setup for the price. It looks sweet as hell to boot

Re: Yoshimura exhaust?

I replaced the stock system off my 929 with the rs3 stainless with carbon half system. It took away from the bottom end and gave it to the top end. Like it was able to wind higher faster.

It shed some pounds and didnt cook my wifes shoe. Overall I liked it. From what I read on the dyno it takes a few hp away. I never noticed the missing hp...was plenty there to still kill me.
