thanks to all who replied in regards to tyres thanks for the advice you all seem to have the same/similar opinions.next question is fitting a front sprocket with less teeth,it apparently gives you more power mid range. is this true.thanks again, this is a good sight

I dropped a tooth off the front on my 1000RR an it I would highly recomend it. I dont think that I would drop more than one though because then I think that you ould get in to a major chain wear issue. Dropping a tooth off of the front makes a very noticable difference and it really only changes your RPM's by about 500-800 at "normal" highway speed. Hope that helps
