Yes, I will agree that stunting your bike on a highway at night is not the right thing to do, but just b/c a rider does stunt doesn't mean that they are people who stunt in general are retards that just go out and copy jackass stunts.
I see idiots that DONT stunt riding fast as Helll and trying to take corners in the city limits as if they where on the race track like they are trying to impress me or others and some of those guys/kids eat pavement and cause accidents. With that said, I DO NOT assume that every person who has a fast, track style of riding or is a track guy is going to ride like that. |

Slodsm's remark has validity... if a person is seeking approval by misusing a powerful instrument in this way, then they lack the discipline and wisdom to stay alive-- a survival instinct. The fact that they cause accidents and endanger others, as you point out, is the reason many hope they don't breed before they take themselves out of the gene pool. |

I don't think any of these guys have exerted half the energy required to actually hate someone. I just think they are concerned that the asshats that stunt are going to ruin it for us all.
Did the cat deserve to die? It's not a question of deserves it's a question of playing the odds and losing. The problem is he doesn't just play the odds and lose for himself ...we all lose to an extent. When you go to buy the new 50 HP 1000RR don't blame anyone but these jackasses that abuse it for the rest of us. |

I guess what makes me upset is that it seems a lot of people on this site dont' like stunters (which is fine) but just b/c some people ride the way they do in public DOESN"T mean that ALL stunters are like that. Maybe I was just looking into it too much, but I just felt as if his comments were towards stunters in general, Rather than those "stunters" that don't take it off the public roadways. |

| Re: stunter meets his maker, now the media ?'s the safety of motorcycles But, as anyone who deals with the general public knows, the general public are dumb. They will read this stuff and nod their heads in agreement aas they mumble words to each other along the lines of banning those death machines...
This is why the trashy media works so well.

I couldn't agree with you anymore. The media never tells 100% of BOTH sides of the story, if they did it wouldn't be as interesting to the general public.... |
