edit: Some of the local homeless guys are hanging out near the worst ones and collecting all the hubcaps that have fallen off. They then set up stands near the highway entrances selling them!

We have some pretty big ones on the highways around here but its just the top layer thats gone so they aren't deep. But the roads around town are another matter. 6" deep sometimes maybe more, you hit them you slam into them.

<back to the thread> The closest thing to a twisty around here are the freeway ramps.

There's a real nasty one coming off the Ambassador Bridge onto 96 that has a "hidden curb". If you try to clip the apex of the turn, you won't see the curb till it's too late. I know a guy who hit the head on him BMW RT1100T and highsided. |

Don't even get me started on the roads around here.
I could do a month of track days on the money spent on tires, rims and alignments.
And they say that they are going to have all this crap cleaned up before the MLB all* game and the super bowl. Yeah right.

I doubt a Tsunami could form in Lake Huron though. | They're repaving and beautifying the entire stretch of I-94 from the airport to Downtown Detroit. The city just hopes everyone drives straight to the stadium.
A natural disaster wouldn't help this place...nukes are necessary!

| Re: Canyons vs. Track : Part XXXIV I go to the mountains every day to get my adrenaline, the roads are full of bumps but twisty and vary in altitude. Then when I go on the track on weekends it is so smouth and easy. Squid during the week, fireblades.org complient during the weekend
The mountains are way more dangerous to me with all the variables and uncontrolable stuff got to keep you eyes wfo more so then the trottle , if worst come to worst I keep them at the same level
Got to love life
