I usually use one day, but in the morning I hit 2 days to see the stuff from later the night before. No biggie.

I use multiday if I've been away a couple of days, or if I'm looking for a particular post from the day before.

I always pick two or three days. How can you do a search if you don't know what to search for? This site is all over the map as far as subjects go.
Are you saving anything by removing the option?

Wait, I guess I don't understand the question. There is a Today's threads and a More active threads. I'm O.K. with that.

It just saves a click for those that only want to see today's. (Majority, it seems.) You can still get multi-days by using the next option to the right.

I've been using a link to the 1 day active topics from my quick links bar, instead of going to the org, clicking forums, then active, then 1 day. It's worked like a charm for months

Me likey! Another board that I'm on that uses vBulletin has the option of "My Recent Topics" in the Active Topics dropdown list. This sometimes comes in handy when I lose track of where I've (re)posted. Could that be an option here?

Duh...yep, that's it. The other board has it under Active Topics. I rarely use the Quick Links menu, that's why I missed it here.
