| Mod Morning Call me a liar. I'm a serial modder. What can I say?
I installed my Galfer front and rear brake lines this morning. Stainless lines with a translucent red plastic coating.
I've put SS lines on several of my past bikes and I never cease to be impressed with how much performance you get for so little money. Also of note, this was my first time using SpeedBleeders and they worked perfectly. The whole job was relatively quick and easy but for the fact you have to remove the entire busa tail section to get at the rear brake fluid res. HELLOOOOO! SUZUKI! ....
I also installed a pair of '02 GSX-R600 mirrors to replace the factory "condom equipped" stockers as Baketech calls 'em - before and after shots below. These new Gixxer units are wispy, sporty, and afford a better rearward view than the chunky OEM units.
I have a couple more tricks up my sleeve, but I'm still waiting on the big brown truck.

| Re: Mod Morning Those mirrors look soooo much better than the stock "condom" units. The older CBR F2, F3, etc. had similar mirrors and I hated that look. I'm glad the 929 came with mirrors similar to what you purchased; one less thing I had to buy!
Put some of that mod money towards the Grattan trip! |

Kuss, I ride the heck out of this bike, I'm just anal about keeping it clean afterwards. I had it on the road for all of about seven weeks late last riding season and put 3,100 miles on it, over half of which came in a ~600 mile run (one way) to the Rockies and back. So she's no garage queen.
Roadrunner, please. You know what a trip from Omaha to Denver is like. Arrow straight slab, mile after mile. So no teasing.
'Gal, thanks for the kudo. It's been a long time since I've been without "condoms" but it sure feels better without 'em. Seriously though, thanks, I'm pretty happy with the new look.

I *still* haven't put stainless lines on mine, even though I've got a full Sato and other doodads. I need my head examined.
Cheers!

Take it from someone who finally had to be talked into mods like stainless lines and suspension.... brake lines are a mandatory accessory!
You'll wonder why you waited so long, I'm telling ya!

Sweet mods, the mirrors are MUCH better | The lines rock, see above. And thank you for the compliment on the mirrors. I hate to admit it, but I owe this mod to Baketech.

I've got clear Goodridge SS lines and a set of speed bleeders... Both worth every penny! |

| Re: Mod Morning Is that last picture to the right in the bottom row the original or new mirrors? I am guessing they are the original ones. You do know that Suzuki put a lot of engineering effort into the Busa? And those mirrors are the way they are for areodynamic reasons. I suppose at highway speeds it probably doesn't matter much but at 180mph+ it probably does.

Dumb question, are the Busa's bars mounted in rubber like the Kat's....
