How accurate are kbb.com bike prices?

When I look on cycletrader it seems every price is above the retail on kbb let alone trade-in. Are the prices that off or do people expect to dicker that hard?

Thanks I am wondering since I have always bought new or inside deals.

My credit union always uses NADA. Might look at www.nadaguides.com Can't hurt....could it?

The prices on cycletrader for used bikes are always heavily inflated. Expect to pay $1k less or even less than that compared to the listing prices. Bike prices on there are very generous.

most banks, insurance companies and dealers use NADA... kbb is pretty much becoming a thing of the past.

I use NADA. My buddy who owns a dealership uses NADA.

NADA is the official way to go when buying and selling.
Don't be fooled by the dealerships that Buy NADA (lower & accurate) and sell Kelly Blue Book (over inflated).
