Clip ons for a 929

This for anyone with Aftermarket clip ons on there 929. Any clearance problems with Vortex or Sato clips being closer to the fairing and the faux ram air covers? And is it possible to just lower the stock ones down to fork tube and save the money?

Under the clip-ons you'll find a clip that holds the clip-ons up. Remove that and you can lower them. Yes, there are clearance issues when you lower them though. I had to modify the steering hard stops in order to achieve a comfortable position w/o having clearance problems.
