how long should clutch fluid last on the 1000?

Being I just got my 1000, I am not sure how long the hydrolic clutch fluid lasts. its already turning quite dark after 130 miles. does it need to be changed at the 600 service? just wanting opinions.

You will be changing it several times to get the color out. If you aren't worried about color, it should last for years.

I had the same concern Stegen. I asked (not here I don't think) but nobody seemed to be able to answer why the clutch fluid darkens so much quicker than the brake.

Talking to lubrication engineers, they say that basically the fluid will last almost forever provided it's kept clean and free of moisture especially.

Nah, never changed mine on the RC51 in its 2 year life and 11000 miles, you'll be fine for quite a while.
