| Bleeding front brakes Yes I was wondering if anyone new the correct procedure of bleeding the front brakes on my 929. I can't seem to find my service manual. |

| Re: Bleeding front brakes Tool? Are you talking about the speed bleeders? If so, no you don't need them to bleed the brakes, it just makes it easier (I don't have them).
I use the jar with fluid method. Fill a clear glass jar with new brake fluid and submerge the clear tubing into the fluid in the jar. Secure the tube with something (I used clear plastic wrap and cut a small slot to stick the tube through and secure the wrap with a rubberband), to make sure the tube doesn't pop out, sucking air.
With this process, the brake fluid in the jar does not allow air to travel back up into the brake system, and you can visually see the bubbles as you're bleeding the system. I'm sure there's a thread on this, it's how I learned to do my brakes.
