Yes, and it doesn't take any hour and a half.

Re: Bleeding front brakes

Tool? Are you talking about the speed bleeders? If so, no you don't need them to bleed the brakes, it just makes it easier (I don't have them).

I use the jar with fluid method. Fill a clear glass jar with new brake fluid and submerge the clear tubing into the fluid in the jar. Secure the tube with something (I used clear plastic wrap and cut a small slot to stick the tube through and secure the wrap with a rubberband), to make sure the tube doesn't pop out, sucking air.
With this process, the brake fluid in the jar does not allow air to travel back up into the brake system, and you can visually see the bubbles as you're bleeding the system. I'm sure there's a thread on this, it's how I learned to do my brakes.

Come on now, Colin has taken enough of a beating lately. No need to bring him in on this thread, too.

Hey Abtech, where did you get the master cylinder banjo bolt with bleeder? I checked Comp Accessories but couldn't find it.

Call Dan Bowen at Street & Comp. If he doesn't have it in stock, try LP (although they NEVER have anything in stock . . .).

Re: Bleeding front brakes

Thanks Abtech.
What do speedbleeders and Colin have in common? They both blow!

Or; You can't seem to run out of hot air with either of them.
